Our Adoption Process
Thanks so much for your interest in saving a homeless pet! Adopters are the key to ending euthanasia and nothing is more rewarding than knowing you helped save a life!
All of the adoptable dogs in our program are spayed or neutered, microchipped, given basic vaccines, tested for heartworm and tick borne diseases and treated for internal and external parasites. Many also receive additional, extensive veterinary care to get ready for their forever homes! Our adoption fees help us pay for vet care and supplies for all the dogs in our program and are as follows....

After reading all the info about the dog you are interested in, you must fill out an online application to be considered for adoption. The application gives us the basic information we need to see if the dog will be successful in your home. If we think you will be a great match, we will call or email you to schedule a time for you to adopt! We do most of our adoptions on Saturdays in Waynesboro, VA. Transportation is the responsibility of the adopter.
